The Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine (OJSM), one of the most authoritative international scientific journals in the field of sports orthopedics, has published the study entitled “Autograft Choice and Jumping Performance After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction“, by Prof. Mariani and Dr. Torre.
The research presents a retrospective analysis conducted on professional athletes practicing disciplines based on jumping (such as basketball and volleyball) and running sports (such as soccer and tennis), who underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using autologous grafts, taken respectively from the patellar tendon or hamstring tendons.
