Capillaroscopy

Periungual capillaroscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic examination that, by observing the capillaries around the fingernails using a microscope or high-resolution video camera, allows for the detection of morpho-functional alterations of the microcirculation, such as abnormalities in shape, density, or presence of microhemorrhages of the capillaries to diagnose and monitor rheumatic pathologies.
