Sports Medicine
The sports medicine is the branch of medicine that studies the effects of physical activity on the body, focusing on the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of conditions and injuries related to physical activity in general and sports.
The sports doctor certifies the suitability for sports practice, both competitive and non-competitive, and can conduct tests and assessments to identify any issues that may advise against such practice.
It is aimed at professional athletes, non-professional athletes, amateur practitioners, and sports enthusiasts of all ages.
VISITS

General examination and recording of anthropometric data:
- Anamnesis of the patient's personal and family medical history, including any past injuries and pre-existing conditions;
- General assessment with measurement of weight, height, blood pressure, and auscultation of heart and lungs. -
Electrocardiogram (ECG):
- Baseline ECG: Recording of the heart's electrical activity at rest;
- ECG after exertion, with IRI calculation: Recording of the heart's electrical activity following an exercise test to evaluate the heart's response to physical activity. - Spirometry: assessment of respiratory capacity through lung function
- Urine test

Competitive sports fitness examination:
The competitive sports medical examination is mandatory for engaging in competitive sports, conducted exclusively by a sports medicine specialist, and includes the issuance of the “Certificate of fitness for competitive sports activities”
- General examination and recording of anthropometric data

- Baseline ECG
- Measurement of resting blood pressure
- Exercise test
- ECG after exertion, with IRI calculation
- Measurement of blood pressure during the exercise test
- Complete urine test -
Non-competitive sports fitness examination:
The non-competitive sports medical examination can be conducted by one's general practitioner (GP) or a sports medicine specialist. It includes the issuance of the “Certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports activities”
- General examination and recording of anthropometric data
- Baseline ECG
- Measurement of resting blood pressure
