Computed Tomography (CT) is a diagnostic technique that uses X-rays and a computer to create detailed ultra-thin slice images (0.625 mm) of the body, with the ability to acquire the entire body volume and reconstruct it in multiple planes and in 3D. This allows the Radiologist to visualize organs, bones, blood vessels, and tissues in great detail.

The CT Revolution APEX ELITE is an advanced computed tomography system, developed by GE Health Care, that leverages artificial intelligence to provide more precise and faster diagnoses, with a significant reduction in radiation. Among its main innovations are the ability to perform cardiac scans in a single heartbeat, even in patients with arrhythmias, and the use of dual-energy technology to obtain more detailed images.
