Patients can access the laboratory without an appointment:

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Saturday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The analysis laboratory is the facility where samples of materials, such as bodily fluids (blood, urine), tissues, and environmental substances, are examined to produce diagnostic and quantitative information. It supports doctors in the prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of diseases.

It performs its functions for inpatients, pre-hospitalization patients, and outpatients/non-hospitalized patients, offering a wide range of analyses including:

PREPARATION FOR MEDICAL TESTS

Preparation for blood test:
- fasting from the previous evening (at least 6-8 hours)
- take regular medication (unless otherwise instructed by your doctor)
Glucose tolerance test preparation:
- specific procedure, please contact the laboratory
Preparation for growth factor injections:
- do not take anti-inflammatory medications or aspirin for 5 days before
Preparation for Breath Test:
- light dinner the evening before (plain food: no fruit, no vegetables, no alcohol, no smoking)
- do not take antibiotics, gastroprotective drugs, or laxatives in the 15 days prior
Urine culture preparation:
- Use the first morning urine, discarding the initial stream
- Do not take antibiotics in the 5 days prior
- Collect urine in sterile containers (also available at pharmacies)
24-hour urine collection preparation:
- Do not use the first morning urine
- Collect urine in sterile containers (also available at pharmacies)
- Keep urine containers refrigerated until delivery
Preparation for semen culture:
- deliver the sample within 2 hours of collection
- sexual abstinence is not required
- collect the sample in sterile containers (available at pharmacies)
Spermiogram preparation:
- specific procedure, please contact the laboratory

REPORT COLLECTION

The service is available without interruption, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays. Results, except in special cases, are available the same morning.
