Born in Pesaro, Prof. Raul Zini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome on July 16, 1976, with honors (110/110 cum laude) and later specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome (July 10, 1979) with highest honors.
Appointed Head of the Orthopedic-Traumatology Division at Santa Croce Hospital in Fano on October 10, 1997, he remained in office until June 14, 1999. He served as Head of the Orthopedic-Traumatology Division at the Hospital “San Salvatore” in Pesaro (now Ospedali Riuniti Marche Nord) from June 15, 1999 to 2007, when he became a consultant for the Villa Maria Cecilia Hospital group, primarily operating at the center of excellence in Cotignola.
