Prof. Antonio Santoro is a member of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery, where he also serves as a National Councilor, the Italian Society of Neuro-oncology, and the Italian Society of Skull Base Surgery.
He is a Full Professor at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and Director of the Neurosurgery Department “B” at the “Umberto I” Polyclinic, Rome.
Scientific Activity
His scientific activity consists of 110 publications, most of which are in English and indexed, one book, three book chapters, 36 presentations at National and International Congresses, and over 200 Communications at National and International Congresses.

Clinical Care Activity
The surgical activity covers all fields of neurosurgery and consists of over 3000 interventions: brain tumors, cerebral and spinal vascular malformations, extra-intracranial bypasses, carotid endarterectomies, spinal surgeries (cervical myelopathies, lumbar hernias and stenoses, extra- and intramedullary spinal tumors, spinal stabilizations, transoral approaches), malformations, and cranial traumas.
