The educational path that Dr. Vittorio Riso has pursued throughout his studies and the continuous training at many hospitals abroad, from 1993 to today, have enabled constant professional development both in the field of General and Emergency Surgery and in the field of Digestive Endoscopy. Born in Cosenza on 01/18/74, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1998.
From the third year of study, he was an internal student at the III Surgical Pathology, Chair directed by Prof. Montori.
Winner of a scholarship at the III Surgical Clinic in 1998, he graduated on 07/16/1998 with a thesis on inflammatory bowel diseases titled: “New surgical approaches in the treatment of Crohn’s disease”.
