Dr. Michele Federico Pecoraro is a Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon specialized at the University Clinic of Turin. He completed his training with two research fellowships in Spinal Surgery, one at Columbia University in New York, focusing on degenerative cervical spine pathologies and cervical deformities; and another in the Czech Republic at Liberec Regional Hospital to learn about intraoperative imaging and navigation systems in the treatment of occipito-cervical and cervico-thoracic junction.
Since 2017, he has performed more than 2,000 major spinal surgery procedures. His surgical activity focuses particularly on the treatment of degenerative, tumoral, and traumatic conditions of the spine, with specific application of the newest minimally invasive techniques and interest in conservative pain management for lower back pain/neck pain and herniated discs through a multidisciplinary approach.
