Dr. Marco Domenico Salvaggio graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 from the University of Messina. In the same year, he gained training experience abroad at the Aller-Weser-Klinik Hospital Verden in Germany, in the general surgery department.
In 2023, he was appointed Medical Director in Urology at the “R. Dulbecco” University Hospital in Catanzaro, “A. Pugliese” hospital facility. He perfected advanced surgical techniques and became passionate about urological collaboration for level III medically assisted procreation (MAP) pathways provided by the Gynecology UOC of the same facility.
In 2024, he obtained his specialization in Urology from the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro.
He obtained a II Level Master’s degree in Clinical Andrology from the UMG of Catanzaro. He is an active member of the main national and international urological scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Urology (SIU), Italian Society of Andrology (SIA), and the European Association of Urology (EAU).
He practices his clinical-care activity as a freelance Urologist and consultant at the Villa Stuart Private Clinic in Rome.
He is an expert in minimally invasive urological surgery for the treatment of prostatic hypertrophy with innovative laser technologies (HoLEP, ThuLEP, MiLEP, GreenLaser, iTind, Rezum). He also treats urinary stones and urethral pathologies; prevention and management of urinary tract infections; treatment of male and female urinary incontinence; clinical and surgical andrology; oncological urology.
