Dr. Lorenzo Andreani

Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology

Dr. Lorenzo Andreani specializes in Orthopedics and Traumatology, particularly in the treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas.

On July 23, 2008, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa with a thesis on rhizarthrosis, and then in 2014, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university.

In 2017, he obtained his PhD in Clinical and Translational Sciences from the University of Pisa. From 2018 to 2024, he served as Associate Professor. In 2022, he obtained a Master’s degree in “Disaster Management and Civil Protection” from UNINTESS Institute. Since 2015, he has been a physician at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of the Pisa University Hospital.

Member of SIOT – Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, OTODI – Hospital Orthopedists and Traumatologists, CIOSM – Italian Club of Musculoskeletal Oncology (2021-2024 Board), ISG – Italian Sarcoma Group, SPIGC – Young Surgeons Multispecialty Society. Member and director of orthopedics and board member of GCU – Emergency Surgery Group, the Euro-Ewing Consortium, and the European Cancer Organization – Bone and Sarcoma Tumor (involving patients from the Ukraine war).

He is an ATLS instructor and head of the Tuscany region’s Emergency Medical Team for national and international disaster relief and major emergencies, and a professor at the University of Pisa and the University of Genoa.

He practices privately at the Villa Stuart Private Clinic in Rome
