On October 24, 2006, Dr. Pagano obtained his Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, with a score of 110/110 cum laude, defending a thesis titled “Biomimetic hydroxyapatite-based bone substitutes in comparison: magnesium-substituted hydroxyapatite vs carbonated hydroxyapatite”.
In March 2007, he obtained his license to practice medicine; in July 2007, he brilliantly passed the admission exam for the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, directed by Prof. C.A. Logroscino.
On July 17, 2012, he obtained his Diploma of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, with a score of 50/50 WITH HONORS (Fifty out of Fifty with Honors), defending a thesis titled: “The rationale for ‘stemless’ implants in hip prosthetic surgery: the proxima prosthesis and ceramic-metal coupling”.
Since 2013, he has been collaborating with Prof. A. Santucci at Villa Stuart Clinic, performing clinical care, outpatient, and surgical activities in the field of lower and upper limb traumatology and hip prosthetics.
