Dr. Antonia Nigro graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the “University of Rome La Sapienza” and specialized in Sports Medicine at the “University of Rome Tor Vergata”.
As a speaker, she has participated in numerous national conferences and, as author and co-author, has published in numerous scientific journals both nationally and internationally.
From 2009 to 2012, she worked as a freelance professional with the Institute of Sports Medicine at Villa Stuart Clinic, accredited by FIFA as a Center of Excellence for orthopedic pathologies and professional athlete evaluation, serving as a Sports Medicine physician operating in the field of competitive and non-competitive fitness certification. Since 2013, she has been the director of the same Institute.
Since 2006, she has been the physician for the National Finswimming Team, a sector of FIPSAS.
