On February 11, Luigi Randazzo, spiker for Kioene Padova and the Italian National Team, underwent surgery at Villa Stuart Clinic performed by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani.
The operation, a single-stage revision of the right knee, became necessary following the injury sustained on December 9, 2018 during the Superlega match between Padova and Perugia.
The surgery was perfectly successful and Randazzo began his rehabilitation program the very next day, with the goal of returning to the court after the expected recovery period.
