Rolando Mandragora, midfielder for Udinese, underwent surgery at Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome.
The player had suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and a tear of the lateral meniscus of the right knee during the match against Torino.
The procedure, performed by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani, involved reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament and repair of the lateral meniscus. The operation was technically successful and Mandragora has therefore begun the recovery and rehabilitation process.
