On September 30, Kseniia Parubets, spiker and captain of Lokomotiv Kaliningrad, underwent surgery at Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome.
The Russian volleyball player had suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee during a Legends Cup match against Leningradka.
The surgery, performed by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani, was completely successful. Parubets then began her recovery and rehabilitation program at the clinic in preparation for her return to competitive activity.
