FIFA RECOGNITION of VILLA STUART SPORT CLINIC

Rome has become the centre of International Football, as Villa Stuart has entered the Gotha of world sports medicine.

Since  November 2010, Villa Stuart Sport Clinic (coordinator: Prof. Fabio Pigozzi), department of the Villa Stuart private hospital, has been included among the FIFA recognized Centres of Excellence with full support from the President of FIGC (Italian Football Federation) Mr. Giancarlo Abete.

Prevention, treatment and recovery of football players: Villa Stuart Sport Clinic has become an integral part of the so called “F-Marc”, the scientific task force wanted by FIFA President Joseph Blatter. After a long period of testing, Villa Stuart, with it’s unique experience on the Italian panorama regarding sports and medicine, was chosen by FIFA to be part of the best international medical structures recognised in the five continents.

In this way, FIFA wanted to recognise and at the same time be recognised in an Italian healthcare facility that, as of today, represents an excellence seeing Villa Stuart Sport Clinic’s experience of thirty years in sports and medicine.

The use of state of the art methods and technology, qualified medical personnel, collaboration with the major National and International sports clubs have helped Villa Stuart grow and achieve FIFA recognition considered one of the most ambitious recognitions in the world of sports and medicine.
